Park Tool built our first bike repair stand over 50 years ago, when our founders needed a more ergonomic and efficient way to service increasingly complex bicycle components. Since those humble beginnings, we have expanded our product line to over 500 tools, stands, and other maintenance equipment. Our mission has stayed the same: to design and manufacture high-quality tools to empower mechanics and riders of all skill levels to service their bicycles. It's the only thing we do, and we're good at it.

I measured my PRS-2 vertical post at 42mm and the documentation said that it will accommodate up to 41mm, so I took a chance. Since both ends of my post have welded fittings and it can''t be slipped on the end, it has to be flexed open to get it on the post. I took the skewer assembly off, put it in hot tap water to soften it up a little first and it went on without a problem. Win!

Park tool clamp 1707.2
Let me begin with I don''t own a Pre PRS-20/21 stand what I do own is several home made bash kit stands or PRS-4 bench modified. I have a PRS-4 bench stand and I needed more height so I went to Home depot and I purchased a 1 1/4" NPT pipe and flange I had them cut a piece 12" 18" and 24" long from a single 8-10'' piece and the threaded it free of charge. The 1 1/4" pipe is slightly smaller than the PRS-4 PRS-2 diameter and this collar fits perfectly.
Now I have a bench stand that is at a perfect height and has all the goodies that my floor stands and portable stands have like paper tool holder and tool tray My pictures have a lot of background noise sorry.
