See more I just started Invisalign and was able to get them in and out but sometimes it was a struggle. I also have short thin nails and this made getting them under an edge to start the removal was iffy. I started watching online videos about Invisalign and everyone said that when you get the attachments it''s harder to get the braces off. I panicked b/c I only have another week before I get attachments. I figured if I have trouble already it''s only going to be worse. So I ordered these. I am very pleased with my purchase. I counted the removers several times but the package only had 6 not 7. So not worth returning and I kept them. I find they work very well -especially so for the bottom aligners. I did also buy the "Pullit" tool and I find that that works better for removing my uppers. I think I''ll have to practice more with both to see which I prefer. 10 people found this helpful Helpful Report Michael D. See more I had substantial surgery in the bottom of my mouth and had to have all my lower teeth pulled.
That meant dentures....unfortunately the surgery left me with no ridge for a denture to be held in place.
So, I had to shell out, you don''t want to know how much, to get dental implants and a snap in denture.
Because I had no ridge, I had to make sure the denture was very securely snapped in. They did a great job of fitting the denture with the right O-rings to make it tight.
But trying to get the darn denture out every night was difficult and frustrating.
I found these little tools and took a chance.
Well, they work very well, and I am a happy camper.
No more gouging my gums with my fingernails.
....and if you are getting snap in dentures.....get ones that are tight.

I had no problem getting my Invisalign out the first month, but once I had attachments put on (a lot of them), I struggled to get my trays out. The bottom in particular was nearly impossible. I tried other things (I was somewhat successfully using a Sunkist orange peeler stick to get the bottom trays out, but it was a little awkward and sometimes painful). I decided to give these a try and am so happy that I did! I keep one at home in the bathroom, one in my travel kit in my purse, and one at my desk at work. The other 4 I''m saving for later. I was immediately able to pop the bottom trays off with ease, I had a little trouble at first finding the right spot to stick the hook in on top. I kept trying though because I liked not sticking all of my fingers in my mouth to get my trays out. After a few weeks I''m getting them out in just a few seconds, usually on the first try on top and bottom. I have had absolutely no issues with breakage or any concerns about durability. As I said, my bottom aligner was really hard to get out before and with this tool it''s a piece of cake. If you''re having trouble with removing your aligners, give them a try!

**UPDATE 7/26/16: Almost a year later and I still use these every day, every time I take out my invisalign. I have had no breakage and still can''t be without! My orthodontist started carrying them as well after I showed it to them. :)

**UPDATE 2/23/17: Still use these every day, now carry an extra in my purse for the days my travel kit doesn''t make it back into my purse. I haven''t lost or broken any. At some point I switched to using the pull side on both the top and bottom, as the pushing on the bottom was problematic and hurt sometimes. My daughter just used this last night (she has regular braces) to get her bands off because she''d just gotten her nails done and didn''t want to stick her pretty nails in her mouth (she was trying to talk me into taking her bands off for her - eww). I still fully endorse these and encourage others to give them a try!

See more I wasn''t sure if these were going to be good but oh my goodness! They are awesome. I would recommend these to ANYone wearing removable braces. It is more hygienic than using your fingernails (and keeps you from breaking fingernails or messing up nail polish) I keep 1 in each bathroom at home, 1 at work, 1 in my purse and 1 at my desk at work. I''ve only had them about 2 months so I don''t know how long they last but they are very sturdy so I don''t feel they will break easily. Depending on how long I have to wear my braces, I''ll be sure to keep plenty on hand. I even suggested to my dentist that he should give at least 1 with every set of braces so people will know that it''s definitely worth the money and will take care of them until they can order theirs and get them in. (and I believe he will do it) 6 people found this helpful Helpful Report Oneiropolos5.0 out of 5 starsVerified Purchase A lifesaver Reviewed in the United States on August 20, 2018Size: 7 Count (Pack of 1)Color: Neon Green / Sky Blue I had read some advice on other webpages to consider these and I am so glad. See more I had read some advice on other webpages to consider these and I am so glad. I still have trouble getting my invisalign out. I do have attachments. My dentist told me to take off the trays by using the inner edge because using the outer can make the attachments come off faster or pull on them too much. I don''t know -how- I would have removed things from the inner side of my teeth without these! They work perfectly there particularly since I can usually find a good place where the teeth allow the hook pretty easily. Once I know where that location is on each new tray, they''re a snap. I haven''t had any break on me or come close. HIGHLY recommended if you''re going to get attachments! 4 people found this helpful Helpful Report Hutch5.0 out of 5 starsVerified Purchase Great Tool Reviewed in the United States on February 22, 2017Size: 7 Count (Pack of 1)Color: Neon Green / Sky Blue I bought the Outie because I had trouble removing my Invisalign aligners. I was breaking my nails when I removed my aligners. Using the Outie has been a huge help. I read the reviews that said the tool broke for them. You do not need to use a lot of force when you remove your aligners. Just be patient and gently work the tool under the aligners until they come lose. The package I received had a total of 7 Outie removal tools. The company stated on the package that they included a free tool because they understand that there is a learning curve. This sounds like a great company that listens to customer feedback. I highly recommend the Outie tool. 7 people found this helpful Helpful Report Paula H5.0 out of 5 starsVerified Purchase The "Dentist" should provide these hooks Reviewed in the United States on November 6, 2018Size: 7 Count (Pack of 1)Color: Neon Green / Sky Blue Boy, I was mortified when I just spent a fortune on having all the dental work done prior to the Invisalign braces installed and then spending over $6500 on Invisalign. See more Boy, I was mortified when I just spent a fortune on having all the dental work done prior to the Invisalign braces installed and then spending over $6500 on Invisalign. I think it blew my mind when I asked the dentist "How am I supposed to remove the trays without breaking them" The dentist replied, "Paula, just use a teaspoon to remove them" OMG, I was so shocked and horrified at how he described how to remove the trays! And anyone out there who has just got "Invisalign" braces, I know how bad they feel right now and you want those suckers out! Well, that''s why any "Orthodentist" or "Dentist" who hooks you up with clear braces, please read this. We pay you a lot of money for them and you don''t provide your patients with a "Starter Kit" for Invisalign. These things work amazing at getting the trays out your mouth. However, again someone is making a ton of money on these as you get 7 picks for in the $25 range! OMG, you could possibly use a plastic "Crochet" hook from a store like "Beverly''s" as it''s the "hook" that you grab the trays with and just gently pull the top tray down on one side and gently remove the tray from your mouth, work your way around the gums in a downward motion. They should only cost about $1, so expensive!!! I would have rated them * for the price! Helpful Report Patricia Ramey5.0 out of 5 starsVerified Purchase Can’t do teeth aligners without these!
