I want to be able to plug my hairdryer directly into the GFCI outlet in my bathroom, while being able to plug a couple other things (nightlight and a speaker) into the other plus have 3 USB ports. And I wanted to get the power strip off my bathroom counter.

Due to the alignment of the 3 prongs, and my hairdryer’s prongs, I can’t plug both things into the outlet at the same time. If this item was designed with the grounding plug on the other side, I would be able to plug both in. I don’t know if it’s possible for it to be designed that way. I do not want to plug the hairdryer into this item instead because the max output is 1875W, which is the same as what the hairdryer uses. So you can’t run the hairdryer and charge your watch at the same time. That’s standard for most power strips I believe.

Also, when I plugged it in, I noticed it makes a buzzing electrical sound which did not sound safe.
