I like these lights. They went up easily, no assembly required, all the bulbs are already screwed in (Two spare bulbs were included, which is nice).
I ran the string around the full perimeter of my patio cover. At 78 feet, the string is long enough that if I desired, I could have zigzagged them across. Running the string of lights around the perimeter resulted in bright, even, lighting of my patio area. I''m pleased with the results. It makes my patio a much more welcoming spot for hanging out after sundown, compared to the two porch lights I had.
I already had clips installed on my patio cover, that I use around Christmas, so I just ran the cord through my clips. There are small integrated holes/loops in the plastic, directly above each light, which allow you to secure the lights in place, using nails or narrow hooks, which is nice, because that also keeps tension on the string, so they don''t sag. I used a couple of these integrated loops in addition to my clips, for that purpose.
These lights seem good for year-round use, parties, or other special events. As long as a simple industrial look fits in with your decor, I definitely recommend you give these a try. The PMS - WATERPROOF OUTDOOR STRING LIGHTS was a perfect fit for our 12x12 pergola with enough left over to string lights in the center as well. They look great and are nice and bright as well as overall attractive. They seem well made and I hope they will last for a long while.

The bulbs are evenly spaces and securely mounted to the electrical cord. The mounts have holes on them to attach them to a fence or roof or wherever you want to secure the lights.
