So far it worked really well to sculpt delicate pieces of 3D print that broke off while removing supports. Squirt a bit of filament with 3D pen, then use pyrography pen to shape it - worked well. But please DO NOT do this without a respirator, as it will make your lungs hurt for days! I also made this little organizer that you can grab at Thingiverse - search for pyrography tips organizer. The reading on the display should be around 28 to 32 - this will produce sufficient heat to work with PLA. I got the two pens variant and that''s really helpful when I need to switch between two different tips, as that saves on time. Replacing the tip involves letting the pen cool down then unscrewing two screws, replacing the tip and putting the two screws back in.
