The new Talbot Torro Isoforce 1011.8 which is 75g unstrung and 80g strung (comes strung) is one of the lightest badminton rackets ever, if not the lightest and is the top racket of the popular Isoforce series by Talbot-Torro. The ultra-light weight is made possible by the use of high quality Carbon4 Hi-Modulus Graphite (lighter and stiffer than classic graphite) with Kevlar reinforcements and features a slim frame and shaft construction with an innovative hollow graphite handle. Instead of the usual wooden handle, the Isoforce 1011 uses a hollow graphite handle that saves approx. 5g in weight. It is also interesting that the 5g are saved in the handle and therefore shifting the center of gravity / balance point higher towards the club head, meaning much more powerful overhead shots. The Isoforce 1011 is thus a very light racket, but due to the shifted center of gravity, it still has enough pressure in its head for a powerful game. The isometric head shape means that the sweetsport (optimal hitting zone) is larger than standard rackets making the racket more forgiving for off-centre hits.The mid-shaft flex also offers an excellent compromise between control and power. At 3 o''clock and 9 o''clock - so left and right in the head is the MPZ = Mega Power Zone. Here, the eyelet / string holes are slightly enlarged by the frame, so that the string can swing through the frame generating even more power through a larger trampoline effect. The slightly slimmer and thinner shaft (Slim Shaft) makes the racket lighter and more aerodynamic. The premium 2-piece construction allows for an extremely precisely manufactured shaft, which is thinner, lighter and exactly the same width in all directions. The Isoforce 1011 is strung with the multifilament Talbot-Torro Galaxy 0.8mm string which is both durable and elastic. The maximum recommended tension is 10 kg.
