It took me 3 hours to put it together and I striped the alan wrench they gave me thank goodness I own a good set. One thing I did different was put together both sides instead of doing all 3 right sides and then going to the left.

One thing they don''t say is DON''T tighten down until every screw is in place. I had problems getting the bottom metal brackets to line up. I untightened the rest and switched sides where I started the bracket. Definitely need a drill! I also had to move the drill holes to the legs slightly. I just had back surgery and could do this :)

I have a 9 inch Purple bed and it was so uncomfortable until I got in on this bed. World of difference! I sleep 12 hours straight lol I also added LED lights to the bottom of the bed. Why pay $500-1000 for a bed that comes with lights. I paid $18 on Amazon for my lights, 25ft. My son and his friends now want this bed. Buy it!!!

I’m going to doc .1 points for package being ripped when it got here. Also will doc .2 on the flimsy plastic clips that hold the wood slats. On the last slat at the very edge of the bed, it broke since I like to put my socks on while sitting at the edge. Other than that, looks very high end, doesn’t make noise or creek and just tall enough that my robot vacuum will fit and sweep under it. Overall I’d by again!

Also I would recommend good tools putting it together, do not use the silly wrench they supply as its useless. Also last thought, I really love how the head board overhangs just the right amount that it allows it to clear almost and base board heater.
