DescriptionKuche Chef''s popular Cast Iron Oil now in an easy to use spray bottle for your grill! Kuche Chef BBQ Grill Oil is ideal for seasoning cast iron grills because it’s a “drying oil”, which means it will transform into a hard, tough film. Kuche Chef Grill Oil forms a seasoning on cast iron, by fat polymerization, fat polymerization is maximized with a drying oil, and flaxseed oil is the only drying oil that’s edible. Kuche Chef Cast Iron Girl Oil is the perfect conditioner for all cast iron grill and BBQ. How to season cast iron grill or BBQ: Warm clean cast iron grill for 15 minutes in a 200°F (100°C) oven to open its pores Spray the cast iron oil onto the grill, then using tongs, rub the oil into the surface with paper towels. Remove excess oil using fresh paper towels Close the grill oven, then bring the heat to 450°F (250°C) and bake for 60 minutes. Turn off the grill; cool the grill for at least two hours Repeat the process five more times or until the grill develops a dark, semi-matte surface Pro Tip: Do not attempt to speed up the process with thicker coats of oil. The process needs to be timed and measured. You will still need grease when cooking. This cast iron oil will NOT go rancid or leave a sticky, smelly residue after the seasoning process is complete. Cast iron maintenance tips: 1. To prevent scratching of the cooking surface use only wooden or silicone utensils Kuche Chef Cast Iron Grill Oil is suitable for use by vegans and vegetarians. Please keep the oil refrigerated after opening the lid, for long term use. Product information
