The room I use for my office has a ceramic tile floor with grout lines. See more The room I use for my office has a ceramic tile floor with grout lines. So out of the 5 roller blade wheels I previously had on my office chair (see pictures) one or more of them frequently (nearly always) would be "stuck" in one (or more) of the grout line grooves. I called it going into the ditch. In some cases the direction of chair movement was perpendicular or sideways to the groove line so the wheel did not want to roll. This became a serious ... let''s call it "aggravation" which could also have damaged not only the wheels but the base of the chair into which the wheel stems were inserted. These double wide (tandem) wheels are the same diameter but they eliminated the ability of the wheels to go into the ditches. One of the two tandem wheels on each set is always going to be on the flat surface of the tile which keeps its counter-part tandem wheel out of the ditch ... so to speak. So, if you now have single wheel (such as roller blade) casters on grouted tile floor, do yourself a BIG favor and buy these double wide wheels or at least something like them. → However, recently (last 3-4 months) it''s been increasingly hard to change direction while my full weight is in the chair. To the point where I have to get on the very edge of the front and damn near fall out of the chair to move it or straight up get up and start the move or move backwards to move in any direction hoping the Stealtho''s swivel and release. (this has been the behavior of the Stealtho since i got them but as I said it''s been getting worse and worse)

→ In the last week I''ve noticed the Stealtho''s have been leaning (I wish I''d taken pictures of them but I didn''t so you''ll just have to take my worked for it) Upon taking them off and putting my original wheels back on my chair i noticed that the Stealthos were very loos as in the rod that goes into the chair could be manipulated to move by about 15-20° this is what was causing the lean.

After tons of research and looking at reviews on amazon I decided to go with the 3" Jusons. I''ve legit had these installed for about the same time it took to right this review on the day they were delivered, and they are 100x better for me than the Stealtho''s ever were.

→ I will say that the Stealtho''s are ever so slightly smoother but not by much. Best part is the stall when changing direction you get with the roller blade styled office chair wheel replacements is gone.

→ I can''t speak to their performance on carpet because that doesn''t fit my use-case... but I wouldn''t expect they would have trouble especially the 3" version I bought.

→ I also can''t attest to their durability or longevity having just started using them for the 1st time today 04.15.2022.

[ Build Quality & 1st Impressions ]
→ Reviews on these are sparse at the time of writing this review but the build quality seems to be top notch. They feel solid and not shaky at all in the hand as well as when installed. Plus they come with a 3 year warranty, considering it took me almost 2 years to find out that the stealthos weren''t for me I''m very happy about the three year warranty for these since I mostly stand while in my home office which is where these will be used as were the stealthos. Even when I put these next to my rollerblade wheels, these are still bigger. At first they looked like they''d be just like the stock wheels, but they are more fluid and have a wider surface area to contact with the floor.

They are also quiet. Rollerblade wheels can make a rubbery sound when pivoting.

It does not include any instructions.
