She has her favorites and even kicks Mr Lion out of the bath sometimes when he is naughty. Some reviewers complained about a smell - I only noticed a bit of a plastic smell when opening the bag which makes sense as they are made from plastic and have been in the bag a long time. A quick hand wash with warm water and dish soap fixed this. Other reviewers complained about the paint wearing off - we have not seen that happen. The same reviewers also talked about washing them in the dishwasher - perhaps don''t wash them in the dishwasher? Considering the dishwasher removes the finish on my pans I''m not surprised dishwashing can cause the paint to peel or fade, I don''t see anywhere these being listed as "dishwasher safe". I wanted so badly to like these because they don’t have holes in them! I was so let down! They smell strongly of chemicals when you take them out of the bag. And while the quality isn’t impressive, they’re decent enough. I wouldn’t pay that price again.

One of them just isn’t satisfactory however. The unicorn arrived with chipping/cracking paint and half hazardly finished. I don’t feel comfortable giving this one to my 6 month old.
