I have a MacBook and was expecting this new charger to look like the one that came with the MacBook. It does look like the one I already have, but I was surprised that the power block for the new one was about twice the size. And it really charges! I was again surprised at how fast if charged my MacBook and mobile devices.

The cord length for the USC-C to USB-C connector cable (stated in the product description as 6.6 feet) was just right for me. Not too long, not too short.

I''ve only had this charger for a couple weeks (Amazon really presses for user ratings and reviews), so I haven''t used it that much. I am still using the original charger that came with my MacBook. I''ve tossed the new charger in my briefcase, in case I need to do a rapid charge when I''m on the road.

For the short time I have had this charger, it seems to be a good product. While it looks identical to my MacBook charger (though larger), I seriously doubt that it is made by Apple. But I think many, if not all, the "Apple" chargers offered on Amazon are knock-offs.
