Overall I think its a good solid build with an accurate color (warm white) LED light. It seems to be made of a section of extruded aluminum (ad says its die cast)- an elephant could probably stand on it and not damage it. It uses relatively thin gauge wire (red, blue and yellow/green stripe) compared to our house electrical lines (white, black and bare copper ground).

The housing acts a a light shade- because it is solid aluminum, it blocks all light except where it is open to the LED "beads." I uploaded a few pics from different angles with the light on and off. My application was a hallway where no one would see it- I think it''s poorly matched for my space. I might rotate it 90 degrees to scatter the light sideways. It really doesn''t matter in my space.
