Fast forward to this summer and I decided to get these.

I used them in a pot, since they couldn’t stick in the ground on our deck. I had to cut off the spikes off the bottom, piece of cake. I set concrete & pipe into the base of the planters. The light pole slides in and out for easy storage during the winter.
