I''ve received tons of differnt smart plugs in the past but either they worked sometimes or never worked at all!

These are a game changer!

Here''s my list to simplify everything down!

Pros:

- Responsiveness: These smart plugs are super responsive.

- These are great for alot of uses, from turning on the lights, to turning on your tv to anything else you can plug in !

You can even create routines that automatically turn on and off the smart plug.

There are so many possibilities!!

I have 2 lamps in my den so when I say

" Alexa turn on the den lamps"

They both turn on instantly without any lag.

These smart plugs work 99% without any issues of non responsiveness or wifi disconnection!

- As of writing the review, the price is 4 for $30 which is a steal!

- Overall Great!

- Easy Setup:

The setup is extremely easy

1. Download the Smart Life app and make and account ( logo with house represents app).

2. Plug in the smart plug into the desired wall outlet and hold the power button on top for 5 seconds. Then let go and you''ll see the light on the smart plug blink rapidly.

3.On the app click "smart socket (wifi)" and follow the easy instruction of entering your wifi password.

4. From there the app should do it''s thing and connect.

Steps for Alexa paring:

1. Go to the Amazon Alexa app and go to skills.

2. Go to skills and look for the smart life one.

3. Add the smart life skill and log in.

4. From there it''s done ! Alexa is officially connected.

TIP: You can edit the name of the smart socket to whatever you want in the alexa app.

For example I named my smart plug name to Den Lamp, so I can tell amazon to turn on the lamps and it will do it.

Negatives:

The only negative I have for these smart plugs is that they are a little bit on the large side. So even so I will be able to plug in my other item into the outlet, it will be a tough fit sometimes.

Those were from an American company and are still in service. The problem was that they were too large and they did not have high wattage capacity. I recently bought an "air fryer" but, while it was not cheap, it had no on/off switch and each time I used it I was obliged to unplug it...very uncool design. So I bought one of these switches to use as an on/off switch for that appliance. The challenge was finding a WiFi switch that would handle the current. The fryer is rated at 1700 watts..yeah, I know that''s not current...and these switches are rated at 1875. So I took the plunge. I bought a pair and I use the other one with a radiator-type space heater in my den (1500 watts). They are both working very well with these switches. But that''s not all, the switches were the easiest to set up of the (now 15) switches I have in the house AND they automatically connect to Echo/Alexa. They can be switched on/off physically by pushing a button, or with the phone app, or by commands to Alexa...Perfect !! So of all the switches I''ve bought in the past four years, these are (surprisingly) the best...also much cheaper than their domestic counterparts. If my opinion of them should change, I will make an addendum to this review, but at this point I am totally satisfied...great value, ease of use, AND high wattage capacity. 7/8/21 Addendum: Just bought #3. All of the above still applies. I''m using it on a large fan which has high start-up current but moderate running current. The plug is working just fine with it...both from iPhone & from Alexa. 2) They lose a second star because a couple of days after I bought them the cost of purchasing 2 shot up by 75%.
