I''m including a picture that shows it holding up a bag of screws with a magnet. Magnet should not be able to stick to aluminum... This light fixture is STEEL not aluminum. Likely just powder coated steel - so as soon as the paint gets damaged it''ll start to rust. Which is why I wanted *aluminum*. Argh. The little o shaped piece at the top of the light fixture may actually be aluminum. But the majority of this fixture is steel.

Installing this fixture is annoying. Typically with wall mount fixtures there is a screw that is at a right angle to the wall that you screw a nut into that sort of sucks the fixture into the wall. Instead, this fixture has screws that are *parallel* with the wall. And one of the screws in my case was completely worthless - the philips head was completely filled with metal. So the combination of those two things made it really hard to get the fixture nice and flush to my wall.

With that said - the fixture is reasonably well made (besides the screw) considering its low price.
