The pile of the carpet is nice, it''s a somewhat deep pile carpet, with a fine, fuzzy, shaggy texture that is pretty absorbent. This bathmat is made of Polyester, the non-slip bottom has dots of PVC.

The Bathmat arrived to me folded, and in a cellophane bag. After removing the bathmat from the bag, there were some light creases on the bathmat, but after washing the bathmat, the creases settled down. I washed the bath mat in a front-loading washing machine, in Cold Water, and placed it onto a drying rack to dry.

So far, so good. It''s a good bathmat for what it is. It’s of the, “shaggy” style, but the pile is not too deep on it so it probably won’t get in the way of a door if this is placed in the path of a door that swings open/closed.
