I was looking for a backpack that I could use for my quick fishing trips or a day hike without spending a lot. My requirement of the backpack was not to be bulky but provide enough space for a light jacket/fleece, water bottle, some snacks and, may be, a book. Also, I did not want it to be like a laptop bag. This bag is of right size and meets all my requirements. Also looks beautiful. A happy buy. Thinking of buying another for my wife.

I bought this for my daughter because her camping bag was heavy and awkward. I bought it solely on it''s weight but I didn''t take it seriously. I honestly thought this would be a fashion accessory, but I gave it a try anyway. I''m glad I did, this bag is 100% legit and strong. Fully packed it holds it''s shape well and enough room for what gear she needs now until she is bigger and older. I used the excess strap hanging down to tie around her waist(wish there were clips on the ends) and she was running around with it on her back and said it was comfortable. I could barely get her to even pick up her old pack. This is a legit pack, well made and light weight.
