We communicated with the seller through Amazon and they responded quickly to let me know there was a second box coming. We got that about three days after the first box. The gentleman I hired to assemble it said it went great. He was impressed by how well it all came together. He showed a picture to his wife. Now she wants one. The bed is solid. The king mattress fits perfectly with enough space on the sides and the foot area to tuck blankets and such easily. My dogs love it because it is now a low enough bed that they can easily get up on it. I think it looks and feels great. There are some lighted night stands on Amazon I''m going to buy to match. If you''re thinking about buying this bed. Go for it. Over all good bed once put together. The piece of "leather" that is mounted where the light bar is is not smooth & as you can see from the pictures it causes "shadows" when the light is on. We thought this was a piece of plastic that the light showed through but it''s just a light strip mounted at the very top & shines down on the "leather". The bad: the white piece where the LED lights show on the headboard is made out of particle board and arrived with several chunks missing. We will have to try and smooth that out and paint over at some point because it’s really noticeable, albeit, cosmetic.
The bed is low to the ground. If you roll out of bed, you’d probably just stop snoring long enough to fall back to sleep. If you’re over 35 expect some back pain from being on the ground for an hour or two while putting it together… Definitely a platform bed. My 9 year old loves it.
