Bulbs are plastic and they are LED, so they are light weight and do not get hot. There was a backup in the box as well, if one bulb dies, I still get a chance to fix it.
These lights give a lovely ambiance to my backyard, when it’s dark, they made the evening special, I really enjoy being outside with my families and friends at night. There is no remote for this set but I am fine with that.
