See more I read a number of reviews on this where some described poor packaging or difficult to assemble. I experienced neither and am very happy with my purchase of the 5-tier bookshelf. The package arrived with zero damage and it was well packed in the box. No scratches or blemishes in any way.

Assembly was easy with the provided tools. It does take about 45 minutes to assemble but the parts were all there (with a few extras) and the instructions are straightforward. I will say that alignment is tight, which helps add to the stability of the structure. I intentionally left screws a little loose until I had added each full shelf with all screws started. Then I tightened everything before moving on to the next shelf. With one particular shelf, I found I had to loosen the cross braces slightly to get the screws started. After the shelf was tightened, I retightened the cross braces. Zero issues and very solid structure.

Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and feel it''s a good value for the money. If I need a smaller unit, I''m definitely picking up the 4 or 3 shelf model.
