It has a nice rolled edge I would only put a little bit of anti sieze on the threads of the clamp just in case you ever want to take it off but so far no rust or anything. Update after a salty winter....it looked crappy but once I got the road tar and stuff off with crab cleaner it polished up with ease like new. No rust nothing. Helpful

Used and old oil filter wrench a buddy had ( ever seen this kind but think most would work): debated big channel locks but didn’t want to smash exhaust pipe. More Wd-40 and let set for 30 minutes and then worked it back and forth in a twisting motion

Time will tell how good this holds up since others have had issues with the powder-coat coming off. To me it’s thinner then the OEM and Ford does have a black OEM of the same thickness for $100...so I’ll see how this works Helpful
