Every inch of floorspace is valuable realstate. I love practical things that double as storage. This lamp has solved quite a few issues:

1. It''s a lot brighter in my living room now that there''s a lamp on both sides.
2. The outlets in my living room and difficult to reach because they''re all behind furniture. This makes it easy to charge my phone and computer without having to bend over the back of a chair to plug them in.
3. Since there are 2 USB ports, my husband and I don''t have to share a charger anymore.
4. The shelves give me room to store things like my earphones and heating pad so they don''t take up space on the couch.
5. My dog likes to hide behind the couch when it''s bathtime. She''s pretty much stopped now that''s it''s harder to get back there.

This has been a huge convenience to me and I am really pleased that I purchased it. I had difficulty on the first step, because it said to tighten the screws in the thick base piece "C." Well, the holes in board C were large and the screws could just wobble around in there, there was nothing in the piece to let screws tighten. I solved the problem by holding the screws in with my finger (the holes are large enough. If you have huge fingers you could hold the screw in place with a screwdriver! I started attaching the legs by screwing them onto the screws that I was holding with my fingers in the holes. Then, I finished with my electric drill, so they were securely attached to the legs! And then covered the holes up with the attached felt sticker circles.
After that, assembly was fun and easy. It''s so nice in my living room now, that really made a difference! 1. We got All the parts and they included some extras.
2. It is lightweight but I knew that from the description. It told how much it weighed. I plan to anchor it if I need to. We have small kids.
3. The 2 largest "screws" (they sent an extra large screw you will not need) These go into 2 of 6 smaller posts, because those are used along with two long posts for the shelf with the charging station. It will make sense when you have it laid out.
4. Before you attach the last 4 smaller posts around the light, Decide which side you would like the pull chain on. I purchased 2 lamps to go on either side of our bed and I was able to customize where the pull chain was.
5. You have 6 small poles, they are as follows; 2 using largest screws for back of charging station and the other 4 around shade. Repeating what I said above.

I originally was going to give this lamp ****4 stars**** but when I started to write the review I was prompted by the seller to rate the lamp in three categories. The categories are 1-"Easy To Assemble" 2-"Sturdiness" and 3-"Value for the money" After reviewing the lamp by their standards I had to give this lamp what it truly deserves which is 3 stars.

1-"Easy To Assemble" - My rating 3 stars ***
-The instructions are not very clear. Look at the attached pictures of the instruction sheet, it''s good enough to get the job done, but is it 4 stars good? or 5 stars great? No and No.

2-"Sturdiness" - My rating 3 stars ***
-This lamp is kinda wobbly, not bad for a lamp, but not sturdy by any means. It is made of MDF sticks with inset nuts which will pull out easily if you aren''t careful during assembly. The lamp is very light, has a small footprint, and it is pretty tall which doesn''t lend to it being sturdy.

3-"Value for the money" - My rating 1 star *
-Look at what we get for $80. We get some MDF sticks and shelves with a plastic textured coating (not painted wood as described), a cell phone charger and a lamp. When I think about it it seem like a lot of money for what you are getting. I think this item belongs at about the $30-$40 mark considering it probably costs all of $5-$8 to make in China.
