I have had problems with one of them, the touch switch works only when it wants. Not a huge problem I just don’t turn it off, as I don’t need to. It is wired to the switch of the power supply so when I turn off the box it shuts off. The other one the switch works just fine.
I have not been able to get any of my fast charge devices to kick into fast charge with it. All my devices charge at 1.5 amps which is normal charging current. The parasitic draw of the device is extremely low even with the led light on, not even a ma 21 ma to be exact with the led off it draws 12 ma. This is extremely good. As with all electronics they have a drain even when not in use the trick is to find the ones with the least draw. I was pleasantly surprised to see the draw so low on this device.

The power efficiency is right around 62% (see photos above for current draws)
Input watts = 0.997 × 12 = 11.964
Outputs watts = 1.48 × 5 = 7.4
power conversion efficiency formula output watts / input watts x 100
7.4 ÷ 11.9 × 100 = 62.18

This is right in the ball park of most consumer electronics maybe a little below par as the range is 63% to 80%. However, when we are talking about such small currents and considering the that most of these will be installed in a vehicle the conversion efficiency is just fine for this application
I would buy these again for projects in the future for the price. They are well built and sturdy.

They do seem to charge faster as advertised... but thats using someone else’s opinion because I’m not the one sitting back there. I had to mount them upside down so the cover would swing down instead of up (user request). No you cant just turn the cover upside down, the whole unit must be turned, because the covers only fit into their respective ports one way. The lighting is bright enough but not too bright. The power button is touch sensitive and the must be powered on to deliver power. Just plugging a phone in does not auto turn it on either. It must be manually turned on if off. If they are setup to turn on and off with the vehicle, they will retain their last memory... on when vehicle turned off, will be on next time vehicle is started etc etc. I set them up to be powered through a painless performance relay setup which turns them on as soon as the 12V port between them is energized. They are getting their power & ground directly from the truck’s battery at that point. So far so good though. In the photos both are centered to the level area of the arm rest. 1 inch from the side and 2.5 inches from the top is the center where I drilled. On the Xterra that fit well without damaging the plastic. I did have to remove the second to top pin/clip but that did not impact stability in the door. There is also a nice rail to secure the cables in.

Das Laden funktioniert ohne Probleme. Für das Loch im Fahrzeug habe ich (wie auf den Bildern angegeben) eine 3cm Lochsäge (am Akkuschrauber montiert) genutzt. Das Loch hat den perfekten Durchmesser. Die Verbauten Steckdosen ließen sich leicht montieren und sitzen jetzt bombenfest. Das Ein-/Ausschalten via Touch funktioniert auch bisher perfekt. Einziger kleiner Nachteil ist, dass man bei eingeschalteter, aber abgedeckter Steckdose Strom verbraucht ohne es zu merken. Die Haptik erinnert dann auch eher an Plastik als an hochwertigen Kunststoff. Die Schutzkappe versieht ihren Dienst passgenau und kann die Optik auch nicht rausreißen. Für den Einsatz im Ducato Führerhaus ist es aber ok, es passt irgendwie zum Fiat. In einem PKW hätte ich es versteckt eingebaut. Die Ladeleistung läßt sich ja wohl nicht messen. Was mich wundert ist, das mein Poco F3 normal den Unterschied zwischen Normal - Schnell- und Turboladung im Display anzeigt. Hier zeigt mein Poco nur an, das es geladen wird, was mich schon etwas verwundert. Lass mich mal überraschen, wenn ich mal wieder mein Pad zum Navigieren dran hänge. Am Motorrad meiner Freundin wird ein schnelladefähiges Samsung Handy geladen. Das schnelladen wird tadellos unterstützt und auch angezeigt am Handy. Ich besitze so eine Dose schon länger allerdings ohne int. Ein/Aus Schalter. Hatte mir damals einen ext. angebaut. Deswegen habe ich diese direkt gekauft, da ein int. natürlich wesentlich praktischer ist. Hoffe das auch diese Dosen ihren Dienst tun. Auch bei Regen und Nässe.
